Spider Farmer Quantum Board vs Mars Hydro Quantum Board Reviews

Spider Farmer is an Asia based LED grow light manufacturer currently offering four models of quantum board LED grow lights for use with indoor gardening. The four quantum board LED grow light models currently offered by Spider Farmer are the SF 600, SF 1000, SF 2000, and SF 4000.
Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED Grow Light. It’s specifically designed for growing vegetables and flowers indoors and provides LED diodes that can simulate the spectrum of light offered by the sun. Let’s dive deeper into what this grow light offers and see whether it will be right for your future indoor garden.
This is a led grow light with Samsung Chips LM301B. It has dimmable MeanWell driver, and a sunlike full spectrum for indoor veg and flower growing.
Very cheap to run. The efficiency is quite high, with 2,7 umol/J. It only uses 100 watts but it will generate the same yield as fake 1000W, 2000W blurple led grow lights.
Samsung LM301B diodes, provide the highest light output led that you can find currently on the market. They create a better canopy light penetration and will bring you 40% higher crop efficiency with less energy than other red-blue lights.
The process is safer now. There is zero noise, because the design has no fan. It has large areas of solid aluminium heat sink. SF quantum board has special protective cable covers, waterproof led board and a highly safety MeanWell driver.
You will receive a 50% longer lifespan than with other similar products.
Spider Farmer will lead your plant in an optimum way during all stages, by just adjusting the height and lighting schedule: germination, seeding, veg and bloom.

Mars Hydro finally jumped on the quantum board bandwagon and released several full-spectrum white LED grow lights.
In fact, they released two lines of lights: the SP series and the TS series. They are very similar, but they do have a few key differences, which I’ll cover below.
The important thing is that both use mostly full-spectrum white LED diodes, with a mix of cool white and warm white.
They supplement that white light with additional red and IR diodes. The SP series also adds in UV light.
This mix of light gives them a spectrum that is very similar to the HLG quantum board lights or to COB LEDs, with additional red. It is the perfect spectrum for plants and the biggest strength of Mars Hydro’s newest fixtures.
The Mars Hydro TS 1000W LED grow light comes in two variants. There is a kit that comes with the light, a timer plug, thermometer/hygrometer, soil moisture/PH meter and the necessary hanging kit to get you up and running. The other option is cheaper but just comes with the light and hanging kit.
I got the basic kit with light and hanging kit, which was great as I already had the other things needed to get me growing. If you are just starting to grow plants indoors, the TS 1000 kit is really good value and will get you up and running with a lot of essential equipment to monitor your growing plants.
Mars Hydro TS LED lights offer a white light spectrum to give you the best result in the shortest time. This sun-like spectrum has been widely found to be better than the individual red or blue lights. Hence, you get higher plant yields with these affordable LED grow light. You can save a lot of money by investing in the best LED lights for growing.
Since these lights are just like natural light and can be used all day and night, they are perfect for all phases of growth. You get a peak on both red and blue light along with multiple other colors, including UV and IR-radiations. To give a more specific idea, the spectrum of TS-1000, TSL-2000, and TSW-2000 models consists of 660nm of red light, 3200–4200 Kelvin, and 5200–6800 Kelvin of the white light spectrum.

Whilst there are most expensive options on the market, with more features, the value and efficiency provided by the TS 1000W and Spider Farm SF1000 is hard to beat. I think the majority of home growers would be really pleased with this model.
